French Bread

1-1/4 cups warm water 110 degrees

7 tsp olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

3 cups flour

2-1/4 tsp yeast

put ingredients in order in bread machine pan

process on dough cycle

shape dough

cover and let rise 30 minutes

bake at 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until bread tests done, loaf will sound hollow when tapped.

brush with butter when removed from oven ,

let cool before slicing

cost .39 a loaf

Note: I cut this recipe in half, when I made the full recipe, it more than filled the bread baker pan and made two very large loaves of bread, next time, I would make four smaller loaves. I also cooked it 40 minutes because 35 wasn’t enough because of the size of the loaves.
